Happy New Year to all
our Castle Learning users!
The start of a new calendar year can relate to many different things. A fresh start, redefined goals, or a desired end to the previous year. It is also approximately mid-way through the current school year. A change in semesters may be coming soon along with interim or state assessments. This means your students need review, preparation and practice prior to the real test. Castle Learning is the right tool for accomplishing this get-ready task.
To
start the new year we also have some changes coming to Castle Learning.
Our Development Team has released a new
printing platform. No, the company is not going
backwards. Castle Learning is still primarily committed to the use of
technology. However, paper-based activities are still heavily used, and
necessary in today’s academic system. The students need a mixture of
methods to ensure their comprehension of multiple resources in the real world.
Yes... students need to know how to use a pen and paper.
The new
Castle printing platform will provide the teacher with all the flexibility
needed for the right layout and use of the paper’s real estate. The
options to drag, edit, stack, and resize are just a few of the new
features. The Castle Training Team will be offering virtual
training sessions to help navigate the new printing
platform.
New releases include:
A web-push
notification feature. Many users have asked for a method of announcing a
new assignment, a due date, unread messages, or the need for CR grading.
A new
direct upload for audio and video files to an assignment. This
new feature allows the teacher a shortcut to adding a file(s) to the activity
while working in the assignment development area. If you are interested
in a flipped-classroom concept, this is a super feature.
